Get The Blessing
Through a love of Ornette Coleman, formed in 1999 by regular Portishead and Radiohead collaborators Jim Barr and Clive Deamer, Get The Blessing forged a sound in jazz that opened the doors to new generations of jazz audiences, and more importantly jazz musicians.

A fusion of submersive FX laden sax and trumpets, infectious beats, killer bass lines and collective spontaneity, Get The Blessing produce incredibly infectious and compelling music.

For this festival special, Clive Deamer is replaced by Dave Smith.

Dilettante (Solo Show)
Dilettante is the art-pop brain-child of multi-instrumentalist Francesca Pidgeon.

Based in the North of England but now performing across the UK and internationally, Dilettante has supported the likes of Caribou, Self Esteem + Philip Selway (Radiohead) with her unorthodox but intricately woven looped woodwind and fuzzy guitar licks.

With music steeped in modern history, in one moment she conjures up images of great new wave bands such as Talking Heads, then flipped in a moment she's a skewed modern jazz crooner.
