Description

Rwandan-born Belgian vocalist and composer Ineza presents IBUKA, her critically acclaimed debut album of original music blending contemporary jazz with neo soul and folk influences.

Defined by vibrant harmonies and intimate storytelling, her sound places voice and saxophone in close conversation, with improvisation adding immediacy and vitality to the live performance. A deeply personal story, IBUKA traces Ineza’s journey from Rwanda to Belgium and, now, to London, exploring themes of loss, healing, and growth with emotional clarity.

The album has received multiple four-star reviews and national and international acclaim. UK Jazz News described it as “showcasing a vocalist and songwriter of impressive talent and a commendable approach to telling their stories with subtlety and restraint.”
