Art imitates life, they say. It isn’t meant to happen the other way around, and Mahler learned the hard way that you should be careful what you wish for. At the climax of his tragic Sixth Symphony, he portrayed an artist felled by three mighty ‘hammer blows of fate’. Not long after he completed the Symphony, three devastating blows reduced Mahler’s family and career to ruins.

That’s the legend, anyway. What is beyond dispute is that this is one of the most powerful – and personal – of Mahler’s works; a masterpiece that embraces love as well as sorrow.

How To Get Your Tickets

1. Buy one voucher for each ticket you intend to purchase. You will receive an email from us confirming your order. This email is NOT a ticket.

2. Open your booking confirmation and follow the instructions to buy your ticket(s) on a third party website using the unique link or code provided. You should compete this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

3. Once you have bought your ticket(s) and received them via email, take them with you and show them on entry at the event. Ensure that you take personal ID with you or you may be turned away.

• The full ticket price retails at £30 - £68. Using the voucher reduces the price to £10 + £4 venue fee
