Description
Tonight’s richly varied programme is brought to you by three of the most exciting young musicians performing in the UK today. The programme journeys from the fiery rhythms of Cassadó to Piazzolla’s tango winter and Marcello’s baroque elegance. The virtuosic Manhattanhenge by Peter Facer meets Romantic gems by Schumann and Debussy, creating an evening of vibrant contrasts.
Arie Dakesian, Gerard Flotats and Ewan Millar are Tillett Debut Artists, selected by audition from a hugely talented field of up-and-coming musicians performing in the UK today. The Tillett Trust is dedicated to helping some of the most talented young classical musicians take the next steps in their careers. By providing performance opportunities during those vital early years, the Trust gives emerging artists the support they need to gain experience, build their reputations and thrive in a competitive world.
