Description
After releasing an EP inspired by tragic stories emanating from his work experience in the priso system, Delachute is back with Canal, his debut album and a very special London show at Hootananny!
Canal is an attempt to escape heartache. It’s a space where the artist allowed himself to be vulnerable, extracting something pure and beautiful from his sorrow. The album is about looking down the canal and letting the current dissipate the sadness. The constant movement of the water is a reminder that even the darkest thoughts eventually pass. The result is both melancholic and romantic.
Delachute played their first live show at Palomosa festival in Montreal alongside Jai Paul, Yves Tumor and BADBADNOTGOOD. The artist is now set for his first Canadian and European tour.
