Seven Sayings: Triumph
Cobham Road Stoke, D'Abernon Surrey, KT11 3QQ
Description
Programme includes: Beethoven Piano Concerto No 4 | Beethoven Symphony No 5.
As Menuhin Hall near the end of their seven-concert journey, they present a joyous performance of two of Beethoven's masterpieces arranged for the School's forces – though they could not resist adding timpani to bring to life Fate's four knocks on the door as the unrelenting Fifth Symphony charges towards its triumphant climax.
Get together friends and family, take a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of sunshine (we hope) and glorious music. Their grounds and bar will be open from 4pm with plenty of chilled Prosecco and fresh Pimm’s on offer.
