Black communities of Sheffield are set to welcome the MOBO Awards to the city with a big takeover celebration in the Winter Garden! Taking place on the same day as the official ceremony, join us for a glorious celebration of Sheffield’s black culture as

Sheffield Spotlight showcases a host of music and artistic talent, with performers from every corner of the city. This special MOBO Fringe event will be free for anyone to attend, with a line up of live music and cultural performances throughout the day, 10am - 4pm, hosted by Nigel Lowan.

The lineup of acts includes:
- Prolific DJ Winston Hazel
- African drummer and teacher Tongesayi
- Emcee of much loved arofusion kings K.O.G. & The Zongo Brigade, Franz Von
- A number of Sheffield schools joining forces to perform a song by Stormzy.
- Young rap artist Leah McLean
- One of Sheffield’s most successful singer-songwriters, Steve Edwards

How To Attend

1. This event is completely free and you don't even need a ticket!

2. Just turn up at Sheffield's Winter Garden between 10am - 4pm on Wednesday 7th February and enjoy everything the MOBO Fringe event has to offer.
